Liverpool Eyed by Besiktas for Late Chiesa Transfer Bid

The Turkish transfer window remains open until September 12, allowing for potential late deals. “I can also reveal to you that Beşiktaş also called for Federico Chiesa,” Romano stated. “Beşiktaş in the last 24, 48 hours tried to call for Federico Chiesa to understand the situation at Liverpool.”

However, Romano also provided a crucial update on the nature of the potential deal: “What I can tell you is that Liverpool are not letting Federico go on loan. At the moment, negotiations are not advanced.” This suggests that any move would likely require a permanent transfer, a stance Liverpool has maintained with other players this summer.
